FOWP to host talk by Jon Higgins, A-POD inventor, on White Pond's water quality

How is White Pond's water quality looking and what could we expect going forward? Friends of White Pond will host Jon Higgins, Principal Earth Scientist at Higgins Environmental Systems and inventor of the A-POD technology currently in use, to learn how things look for White Pond and what the next few years may hold.

Jon can talk about how the A-POD works, what factors are helping or harming the pond, the impact of temperature changes, and the outlook for toxic algae growth in 2024. This is a great time to ask questions and get answers.

If you are driving you may want to park at the main town beach parking area and walk down. Parking is limited next to the boat launch.
